La chorégraphie est écrite pour développer un plan-séquence continu, sans montage, où les images sont fabriquées à hauteur du bassin, à partir du seul mouvement des danseurs dans l’espace. Dans ce diptyque, deux solistes dansent accompagnés de l’entracte mélancolique de l’Acte III de Carmen de Bizet. Tandis qu’Olga Mesa se livre à une performance énergique en plein air, dans un jardin anglais, Gilles Jobin évolue dans une pièce tapissée d’un papier peint en trompe-l'oeil, où défilent des paysages de montagnes suisses.
