Mediterranean
"Sea in the middle of the earth" is the Latin expression used to denote the Mediterranean. It was on the Grande Bleue that tourism developed during the 19th century and of course the Mediterranean Sea, with its climate and beauty, has been an inspiration to a great many artists.
