André Kertész, born in Hungary in 1894 is still today one of the most groundbreaking photographers in the history of photography. Pioneer of the mobility afforded by the Leica he purchased in 1928, he took many legendary pictures throughout his career, poetic documents sometimes inspired by surrealism, but always revealing a certain empathy and sensitivity towards his subject.
