The Grand Palais, between architecture and light...
A real glass palace, the Grand Palais combines strength and fragility in its glass and metal architecture. The alchemy that takes place between the building's architecture and the light, gives it a character that is particularly conducive to the constant metamorphoses that occur during the numerous events that are held here. Indeed, it is used both as an exhibition hall (Monumenta) and a venue for celebrations. The contemporary photographer, Raphaël Gaillarde, has succeeded in capturing this alchemy with his lens, for exceptionally beautiful and artistic effects.
