The eyes
The eyes are an essential part of non-verbal communication and convey the entire range of human emotions. We can understand why artists have always been fascinated by this form of expression. In his Original Short Stories, Maupassant wrote: "Our eyes are the mirror of our lives, thoughts, sufferings, emotions and love".
A look may indicate the position of the eyes - for example, we avoid, we stare, we raise or lower the eyes - but it also reflects the state of mind of a person at a given moment. It facilitates, or not, exchanges between human beings.
