Stage Costumes
Stage Costumes

Costumes are an essential element of theatrical arts and an actor's second skin, and give meaning and substance to the theatre. Scenographically, as seen from the Renaissance to the 20th century, they form an integral part of the stage set. From 21 May to 28 August, the Magnin Museum in Dijon, is presenting stage costumes from the collections of the Centre national du costume de scène and the Comédie-Française.
